I'd say it went really well depending on what platform you're talking about.

If you talking about the PSP I love the announcement of all the new games and support it's getting. I'd give it 9/10 in that regard. I only deduct a point because of the PSP Go. I'm still not sure how I feel about it and the price point is too high IMO for such old hardware. I was waiting on E3 to figure out what to do with my PSP-3000 but it looks like I'll just be repairing it.  I'm so happy at all the support it's going to be getting soon.  I really like my PSP and the expansion of the PSN and more games is only a positive in my book.

For myself I wasn't too wow'ed by the PS3 announcements. We got confirmation on 2010 on a couple big franchises (yay?) and the reveal of a console MMO which I have yet to find any excitement about. If you're serious about actually wanting to play a FF-MMO the PC is probably the only way to play it. Cool about Rockstar but all we pretty much got was a name and nothing more. Biggest announcement on PS3 side was finally the reveal about The Last Guardian. A first day buy for sure.

Motion controls I could care less about whatever console they are on.
