Right now there's only 2 gaming sites that I consider reliable: Gamasutra.com and Shacknews.com

The rest are mostly manure fest. IGN is one of the worst offenders as they make so many damn mistakes yet still have the nerve to consider themselves professionals. Unfortunately, VGChartz isn't better than IGN and just recently it was posted in the news several fallacies like FF14 and MGS: Rising being exclusives, when they aren't, and the recent TOP100 List was easily the worst top100 I've ever seen. But atleast VGChartz is slowly improving, while IGN isn't.

- The 'fallacies' of FF14 and MGS: rising being were normal mistakes, made by live coverage which always, and anywhere, creates such mistakes. That's a consequence of live coverage. Then you mostly rely on one source, not two or three.

- That top 100 was chosen by the 'members' of VGchartz. It was not an objective list, not by the site staff. If such a thing is possible with games.

Got to go with Shio there.

Even discounting those live mistakes, stuff like putting a graph comparing the first 130 weeks of the Wii, the PS2 and others consoles and failing to mention the PS2 chart doesn't actually have 130 weeks data for NA and Others due to scattered released, doesn't help your credibility....

PS3-Xbox360 gap : 1.5 millions and going up in PS3 favor !

PS3-Wii gap : 20 millions and going down !
