First, gamers can agree that this E3 was hands down better then the previous E3. Going back to the old format was a good move. I mention this cause I don't want this to turn into a fanboy meltdown of "Who won E3!".

What I want to talk about is the number of articles being written that have the new Motion controls offerings from Microsoft & Sony as the pinnacles of E3, and how serious do you think these articles are, as these articles read as if these motion controls will be the norm instead of the alternative for these platform.

...To be frank here, but WhAt thE FuCk?!?1/!

I understand the bitterness that some columnist may have towards Nintendo and casual gaming, but I'm sorry this is just too much manure to take. Is it because this now opens the chance for previous Wii Exlcusives to be ported over to other platforms? One thing that is abundantly clear is casual gaming is making core gaming EVEN more of a niche then I previously thought.

With motion controls now being considered the norm, the often repeated Nintendo "Something for Everyone" mantra carried thoroughout all 3 major conferences, and the largest cheers for the day coming from Sony's PSP Hanna Montana bundle announcement, I'd say so...

The Interweb is about overreaction, this is what makes it great!

...Imagine how boring the interweb would be if everyone thought logically?
