You should know what you want. I think overall 360 is a better system to get but if you are a fan of FF/MGS you should go with PS3. Do you have a HD TV, then the blu ray movies may be worth it for you (though I think my dvds look great on a upscaled dvd player). If you care about older games the 360 will give you the opportunity to play some of the XBOX titles you never go to play. A lot of multiplatform games come out first on the 360(from a few weeks to a month difference, with exception of the timed exclusives) so that may mean somthing to you. If money is a matter to you you can get a 360 with 3 games for the same price of the PS3 with a movie(when the christmas bundles/models come out). Go to the store and see which system has more games that you want. I say go 360, but take in all the info before purchasing.
Getting an XBOX One for me is like being in a bad relationship but staying together because we have kids. XBone we have 20000+ achievement points, 2+ years of XBL Gold and 20000+ MS points. I think its best we stay together if only for the MS points.
Nintendo Treehouse is what happens when a publisher is confident and proud of its games and doesn't need to show CGI lies for five minutes.
