"Best" in what regard and for whom?

- to each of us as individual gamers?  (MS for me)

- to sell the most product to the most people?  (Nintendo - duh)

- to just be entertaining and wow us, no matter whether the products are fun or playable or ingame or what have you?  (Take your pick)

- at getting 3rd party support? (MS)

- at getting mainstream press coverage? (MS - Natal's going to garner the most talk)

- at winning the most "Best of E3" awards from the show or from enthusiast media? (PS3 software sure looks awesome - hands ons will tell the tale)

- to sell consoles? (who knows?  I think they all stay put in sales %, quite frankly)

- to sell software? (see below)

- to make profit? (nothing has changed.  Nintendo's printing money, MS doing ok, Sony bleeding.)

If you go through all those questions, you're going to get very different answers.  We all know the things that sell the most that we saw so far from MS, Nintendo, Sony , ubisoft and EA are obvious.  The Halos and Marios and WiiFit's and WiiSports and Imagine:Baby Hippos  and FFXIII and GT5  and GoW3 will sell the most.  And they would whether E3 mentioned them or not.

Unless the "Best" tag is narrowed, it's hard for any of the discussion tobe all that meaningful.

Can't we all just get along and play our games in peace?
