Squilliam said: I would say that Microsoft was FAR more ready to show off what they had been doing. The Milo demonstration was absolutely critical and it shows that on the software side they are really much further ahead of Sony in terms of making this work for you and I. They both have a lot of potential, but I think Microsoft has more of an opportunity to really create a few killer apps that both Sony and Nintendo cannot do and seal a niche of the market to themselves. |
Hate to break it to you but Milo was confirmed to be a streaming hunk of unresponsive bullshit by ign... lol hate to break it to yah :P

IMO I agree that it is a great concept... but now its just a concept... and for at least a few years will remain that way until the concept is realized properly. And ill try to find the damn link...

The killer app for Natal is in education not games at this point IMO. Microsofts biggest strides with Surface have been with kids interacting and if you look at the nature of the Milo interactions its more an educational product. See how it reads documents into the program? See how the kid had homework to do, and it wanted you to help it. You can't make people pay $150-$200 for an interface, but you can get them to pay that much for an education. It has a massive potential, education dwarfs gaming in terms of money spent by quite a significant degree.

I agree, although the common modern day culture often doesn't.
