I am usually a bit more over the top when I engage in satire and sarcasm.  The post has to do with, when someone does something, there is excessive piling on in that area.  I posted examples here of this.  Well, considering the size of the industry, and the nature of E3, I guess this should be expected.

Would you rather I rate the press conferences on their entertainment value?

 

When someone does something successful others try to replicate it, that's competiton. Or more accurately for gaming, everyone copies Nintendo.

The EXTENT it went to this year is what I guess I was ranting about.  And it isn't just copy Nintendo.  Sony and Microsoft copy one another also.
