The new 2.5d/third person/first person metroid. That is the closest thing I can get to a new 2d metroid I guess. To be honest, I thought they were going to announce Zelda Wii years before a new Metroid Wii. Though that just makes me think that Zelda Wii is just going to be more awesome than I can ever think, because of it's development cycle being so long. Also great because it won't get delayed a bunch of times like Twilight Princess.
