Both Microsoft and Sony motion controlled systems have potential right now. But that's all they are for now: "potential", until we see some actual games and not just heavily controlled tech demos. And creating the software is the hard part. I have no doubt that Microsoft and Sony can duplicate the Wii remote, but I'm extremely doubtful that they can create the next Wii Sports.
Also, the completely hypocritical reversals of many Microsoft and Sony fans' attitudes towards motion controls in the past 24 hours have been simply hilarious to watch.
