8.5/10

Loved:
- Uncharted 2 in the opening. Truly the best start to E3 this year
- God of War III new footage. Looked good
- GT5 trailer. Disappointed by lack of gameplay though
- PSP games. I don't own a PSP, but it's good the platform is finally getting fully fledged Sony support
- FF14 Online. For the brief minute that we thought it wasn't an online game, this was a fully fledged megaton. After we found out (and the likelihood of a subscription fee), this dropped from megaton status to being a good announcement.
- They didn't speak about sales numbers (much), which is what I wanted from all 3 this year.
- AC2 footage: Exciting stuff.

Loathed:
- Eyetoy/Motion controls: Aside from what I feel about the controller and the thing itself, presentation went for too long and showed too little for most parts (Sweet you can reskin the controller on screen so it can be a sword, tennis racquet etc. But all your showing is still just the 1:1 thing).
- TRIco: Okay not really a loathe, but not a love. We've seen this trailer leaked before and apparently it's old footage. Extended version or not, fact that it was 2 year old footage disappoints.
- Too Many montages: One thing I liked about MS was that it didn't feel the need to show EVERY 3rd party game that was coming out.
- Modnation Racing: I didn't like Joyride at MS conference, I'm not going to like this one. I strongly believe this won't be the next LBP in terms of changing the landscape of gaming.

I think I might need to readjust my other scores. I put MS at 8.5-9/10 and Nintendo at 8/10 but they were all really even. I don't think Sony won E3 but they had a very respectable showing.
