Except this is better than the wiimote+. When Nintendo adds a camera then it will be like this. Though again, WHY? More motion junk, ugh.

That's not true, really. The archery demo was exactly what Nintendo showed in Wii Sports Resort. With exactly the same mechanics and even the same effects. You can compare it to a Wiimote but it doesn't surpass it, really. It's about equal. Problem: They need a nunchuk, there is no control stick. We'll see what they'll come up with to compensate for this, though. But basically he just used 2 Wiimotes. You could also do this on the Wii.

What people seem to be missing is that it combines the wand motion control which in all honesty you can't do without 'copying' what already exist with video motion control which MS demoed yesterday.  It basicaly combines the best of Nintendo with the best of Microsoft into what all this motion junk shoulda been from the start.

Sure but it doesn't seem to add any great functionality, does it? The camera is cool but it doesn't look like you'd definitely need it - it only detects the motion of that glowing ball not your motion (if I didn't miss something, that is) Besides that it is still missing a control stick so it can't be used for a lot of things (the same goes for Microsoft of course).

That being said God of War 3 and Gran Turismo look awesome and I think Sony had a great showing this year. Especially the PSP is really hot now.

My point is good motion control needs to be able to tell if im ducking, tilting my body, etc, but needs to detect that independent of the controller. Sony's solution is the closest to that as far as I can tell.  MS is missing a controller for the hand, Nintendo is missing body detection independent of the wiimote.  I think the end product will look different from what we see now simply because you are right that it needs an analog stick to go along with those buttons.  That probably means the end controller will have two peices for games that require 3D environment movemvent like walking instead of mostely stationary hand gestures.
