Saying that the other MGS games were on other systems is irrelevant. MGS1 was ported a generation later by Silicon Knights, and MGS2 substance was a test to see how MGS would perform on the XBOX(it failed, and the result was MGS3 being PS2 exclusive). MGSR is the first Metal Gear Solid title to be released day and date on multiple consoles.
