Metal Gear Solid 4 was released and it ended the story of Solid Snake. So I was thinking, Metal Gear Solid is about Solid Snake, correct? So if Solid Snake's story is over, doesn't that mean Metal Gear Solid is over? Metal Gear Rising may be the next series of Metal Gear, taking the place of the Metal Gear Solid series. Edit: What I'm saying is there may be no MGS5, ever.
What do you think? |
Well, actually, Metal Gear is about the metal gear threat. Solid Snake is just a character in the Metal gear universe and the MGS series followed his story within that universe. Now his story is over, and Raiden's story begins. Notice the consistent them is Metal Gear not anything else.
No, there will probably never be a MGS 5, you're right.
