I just thought of something, reading Malstrom's article. What if he's right, but not for the right reason? What if MS is using this strategy so Nintendo will further improve on their cam tech, starting from the Ubi-Cam, and harness something really unique and innovate with the tech. MS will be quietly taking notes, and use the new ideas to build upon the next MS control. Sort of making Nintendo go "all-in" with the camera tech and then using their idea to improve upon. Could be an interesting bluff strategy.
