I don't think respect is the word. For a moment I thought I was on a gangsta rap forum.

On the other hand, business is business is not completely fair either. It is true that this man was associated with Sony as a brand, and let's not be naive, it's obvious he is an icon for many and having him there physically was a hit for Microsoft, as if saying "now it's our guy".

It's a business we all (should) understand that, and going multi-platform makes sense, even exclusvie for some good cash, but I can understand that the fact he was part of the Microsoft show is seen by some as a low blow. Not really lack of respect, but manners count too. Having said that, I would do the same , but I would probably show up at Sony's show too, for the sake of my relationship with Sony.
