As Staude touched upon, it's more of an insult to the consumer.
If I finally bought a $199 PSP after its third revision, and then they add my most wanted feature in the fourth, I'd feel pretty screwed.
I agree though, in essence. I have yet to buy a PSP (Although I'm likely going to pick the Go up), and I would love a second analogue. I also agree the space where the Start/Select buttons currently reside just begs for one. I just understand why they don't, and why they aren't obligated to.
