With respect to this part -

"With Project Natal, instead of using a joystick, you steer by holding your hands up in the air like you're gripping a steering wheel. To hit the gas, you move your foot forward along the floor. To brake, you move it back. To trigger the turbo boost, you do a gear-shifting, fist-pumping movement with your right arm. Awesome."

- I find it hard to believe that some people who didn't want to look like "idiots" waving their hands around with the wiimote would embrace the idea of driving an invisible car (well, unless they were hypocrites).

However, I'm very interested in this, and I can't wait to see what games they can implement Natal in, and how they do it. It'd be really cool to play some sort of soccer game with this.

I think the driving game analogy is terrible. Personally I'd prefer the tactile feel of a wheel and shifter in my hands to thin air anyday. Who drives irl by waving their hands about anyway. Heck, I'd even prefer a controller to nothing at all... just give me something that I can physically feel move in response to my inputs.

Thats not to say I don't find Natal intriguing, and I am sure there will be alot of great games developed for this technology. Just saying that things like driving games should always be left to real controllers is all.
