The thing about Milo is that Milo's made by Peter Molyneux. And Molyneux has been promising this exact same thing for, like, 20 years. Remember Black and White, where your creature was able to learn your actions and build a personality? That worked... kind of... in an odd, roundabout way. Or Fable, where everything supposed to react to your character, and your actions can change the world, entirely. That was... kind of true.

 

Molyneux excaggerates. It's what he does. I don't think he's released a single game he hasn't called "a turning point in video games" or "the greatest thing to happen to anyone, ever"

 

Milo won't work because all the lines have to be recorded. So it's just an arbitrarily complex dialogue path that you don't directly control.
