Seriously, people... this is not meant to be a device for controlling FPS type games... but who knows, they have a wide and open future where they could make it compatible.

This is directly targeting the Wii, casuals, and the 60% of families in the US alone that do not own a console. As they stated, the controller is a barrier because it is a piece of technology that can potentially turn off many individuals. Pushing buttons to get actions on screen is not always the easiest thing to get used to. What this does is remove the need for a controller so that everyone can participate in it's games. All you need is your life experience and the ability to move.

This is about bringing in the people who don't even have a Wii because the notion of a controller at all is intimidating to them. If you think these people don't exist, you are naive and are clouded by the fact that you do know how to game on a controller. You grew up with this and learned on this, but for many many more that is not the case.

I can't say if I will buy it just yet as they don't have many details released, but from the games they did show, and from the potential I can see for this device, I am definitely interested!
