The remake created by LucasArts themselves is not only coming to 360 but also to PC (it's a dream come true for all Monkey Island fans; just watch the video on the games page - you can switch seaminglessly between new and original graphics/interface).
The new Monkey Island game called "Tales of Monkey Island" by Telltales is coming to PC and Wii (5 episodes), starting July 7th.
So at the moment it looks like 360 only players will get one MI game, Wii only gamers will get one, PC only gamers will get both => this topic should've been in gaming forum.
Microsoft did not "win" anything, but it's a great day for Monkey Island fans anyway. Two huge announcements for fans of the (IMO) best point & click adventure series ever created.
