Which typically results in a instability in their formative years. Which in turn creates a higher likelihood that they will engage in criminal behavior as adolescents and adults. I think we all knew children like that growing up. The ones that never got the attention or love they needed and deserved. I am not saying it accounts for all reduction, but it probably accounts for some. |
Being that 13% of children were raised in single parent households in 1970 and that has grown to over 30% today, with a large portion of that growth being the result of more single women having unwanted children, wouldn't your argument mean that we should have seen an increase in violent crime?
