this is not a personal attack, dclKeel, I don't disagree that there is no real term of hardcore or casual in gaming, but in the English language, they actually mean different things, by far, those are not even valid words to describe gamers since they were made up by teenage boys. The whole "golden era" thing doesn't apply to what you are describing as well, I think you should look for a better term than "golden era" tbh since the PS3 is not anywhere close to it no matter which angle you want to look at it from.
