Why?

Persona is the biggest franchise they have.  To suggest that they'd let the Americans announce it...  I mean The two branches act as seperate companies practically.

 

As for Undying reason for saying it.  I'd guess it's a userbase arguement.  Persona needs both good Japanese and US sales.

Yups that is why they put Persona on PSP and not on DS.

Persona on DS would just be strange.

It would take a lot more altering then Persona PSP will.
