Been an Xbox Live subscriber since it started on the Xbox. I try to just purchase a 12 month card when mine is about up. $50 for 13 months is a good deal to be honest. I am heavy on single player action and light on Multiplayer action so I will also tell you that you don't need Live to enjoy an Xbox 360. I have my Gold Membership mainly to have the full experience that and from time to time i do like to play a few online matches. With or without Gold Live you will enjoy a 360 and can enjoy it. Be sure to hook up to silver membership for free if you choose not to go gold. this way you can still download movies, demo games and play xbla trial games etc.

Xbox 360 wants to Kinect & PS3 wants to Move! Why are both systems having such relationship problems? The reason is they both become so infactuated with desire while watching the Wii as it waggles on by. They simply want what they can't have.
