I agree on graphics not stunning but I would say a 9 would be better (looks way better than MP3), but I agree its not close to gears of war. Gameplay, I disagree, I understand that you don't like FPS but for me it was one of the best video game expirences in a long time, fun, fast and very very difficult (play it on legendary) over 20 hours for me (I know I'm not the best Halo player), but legendary is tough.
On the lasting appeal for me its a big 10, I already beat it on normal and about to beat it on legendary, playing online coop multiplayer team slayer its great, so many things to do, not enough time.
Just my side of the story, you have to know that FPS is what I really like, that and sports and racing.
