I recommend playing through it.

I posted my opinion about after 2 hours of gametime and received a fair bit of flaming from the PS3 fanboys here, but I think that perhaps I should have finished singleplayer first.

I did in the end and whilst a few of my complaints still stand (awkward auto saving lags and control scheme), it turned out to be a fun game.

No where near living up to the hype of the fanboys, but it was a good FPS that would stand up well in the 360's library.

The control scheme is not particularly intuitive and I don't think (from what I could tell) that you could customise it, just choose from options. So you'll have to deal with that. You will probably get used to the accelerating turning (I did, kinda).

The plot itself isn't too original and the twists are decent, but you don't care about any of the characters by the end of the game, which doesn't help. The atmosphere is incredible though, it'd actually be worth it to stick around just for that.
