The problem with the PS3 being 3rd means that Konami would have to be paid some serious cash to remain exclusive to it. Because it would be cutting itself out of a potential shead load of money by going multi-platform. The financial world we are in right now i just can't see a company doing that. They want as much as they can get. They are not into fanboyism just making money.
So personally i think the days of true exclusives are gone from 3rd parties. If MGS5 comes out it will obviously be on PS3, that is a given. But i don't think it will be an exclusive and if it is just a timed one. The COD series has shown how much you can sell by being neutral. A company ignoring that now deserves any financial hardships it gets into because those decisions would be silly.
