I don't get the PS3 software hype. There isn't single a moderately interesting exclusive scheduled for the PS3 for the foreseeable future. The XBOX isn't much better off, but at least it has ME2. All of the action is multiplat these days, which basically means that the only reason to get a PS3 is for Bluray which is worthless. The XBOX at least has live, for those folks that like that sort of thing, in addition to a pricing advantage.

Well, I can tell which console you favor. I'm all for differing opinions, so maybe that's why you think the PS3 linup isn't "moderately interesting", yet you were quick to point out ME2 and XBL. Have your different taste in games...overlook Uncharted 2, overlook Ratchet: Crack in Time, overlook God of War 3. That's fine. But saying that the only reason to own a PS3 is Blu-ray, and that Blu-ray is worthless...GTFO. Don't act like one of those anti-BR zealots who say "uhhh durr *drools* I don't see duh difffrenze bahtween dah Blu rayz and duh DVDz", there is a HUGE difference, so just on that merit alone, it's not worthless. Go see an optomotrist for your eyes, and a psychologist for your brain

PProblems with reading comprehension much?  I was primarily pointing out that neither console really has much going on in the way of exclusives, with the only announce exclusive that I am interested in being ME.  Then I pointed out PS3's advantage which is useless for me as I probably haven't been in a video rental store in 10 years and have never bought a DVD.  I also pointed out 360s advantages, one of which is useful for everyone, price, and one that is useful to those folks that care about the online ecosystem, which I don't.

Reading comprehension is trumped by nerd rage whenever you downplay the importance of any aspect of the PS3.

Then explain to me why Blu ray is worthless? Because it looks no different than DVDs? Wrong. Because it's selling at a slower rate than DVDs? Wrong. Because SDTVs are selling faster than HDTVs, therefore hi-def doesn't need to be manipulated? Wrong.

For one person out of MILLIONS that doesn't watch movies, I concede that BR is useless to him. But the original statement was broad and thus seemed to emcompass everyone, which was also wrong. And if you forgot...there is such a thing as a standalone BR player. That's why I said I was fine with him overlooking the PS3, but to call BR worthless is foolish

I didn't say I didn't watch movies. I just said that physical media is useless.  It is a horribly outdated concept.
