I know the ue3 is amazing. I have unreal tournament 3 for the ps3 and the game is gorgeous. I just don't like horror games ;)

UE is far from being amazing:

- it's ugly and produces very specific type of look in games where it's used (it's probably easiest engine to guess when you look at game)

- it gives microglitches on pcs

- it can't even run properly on ps3 (how many times have we seen ue3 based games getting delays due to it ? )

- it's not even that fast considering lack of advanced effects.
