Microsoft doesn't own Epic, they can do whatever they want.

The Xbox 360 has a higher userbase, Microsoft is more willing to pour in a lot of advertising and the differences between a PS3 and Xbox 360 game in terms of result are marginal so they have more incentive to give this hypothetical game to the 360 than PS3.

So the PS3 should get no 3rd party exclusives....and the 360 should get all of them, is what you're trying to say?

OT: More refined than the Unreal Engine in Gears 2? Ouch. That's the 360s most graphically intensive game and it's already getting usurped by the PS3...again

Not definitly.

It took a more refined UE to match the 360's UE.

The game could end up looking just as good as gears or possibly even worse.

Keep in mind the UE in both 360 and PS3 were equal... but developers were struggling in PS3 development so Epic had to refine their engine more.

Then Gears 2 came up with an upgraded 360 UE.

This game could just be to bring things back to even.
