first i really don't like any of those two, heroes in them are pathetic, unable to acheive victory without assistance of the gods and zeus is even more pathetic, since he loved ilion but wouldn't actually side with it since it will bring trouble with his women.
theres really not much room for a iliad game, since the story most of the time stays in the same place, outside the walls of troy, it would be repetitive having the same stages over and over again, regardless of the genre.
for the odyssey theres more of a chance, but gameplya wouldn't be in constant change, more like a collection of minigames, like tie yourself up to the mast or hide beneath sheeps.
personally i would prefer a paradise lost videogame, any game that has satan as a playable character is a complete win.
