That's because all of Europe is a socialist utopia now. Sadly America is sliding that way too, giving up Freedoms in exchange for protection from the government (in all aspects of our life). I'm a staunch Libertarian, take care of your own shit, and hope the government keeps the fuck out of my activities as long as they don't infringe upon the rights of others. I would take freedom over economic safety any day of the week. For the gaming aspect of it, look at Germany, the UK, and other European countries where Mature games are being banned. At least we still have most of our Freedom of Speech :) |
Actually I was born and currently reside in Virginia... Before my last move I lived in Louisiana. Before that, it was Alabama. I've lived in most regions of the USA and never before have I seen the sheer racism and backwardness that exists in the Southern USA.
