people here are apparently dense. The arcade bundle isn't meant to be perfect out of the gate, the main idea of it will likely be to draw people into the system and play it at a base ('ps2') level, without the online, patches, etc. If people like the system and want to do the other things they can run out and buy a harddrive or something. It's an entry level system that, for some people, will be 100 percent fine. 256 memory is more then enough to handle game saves and it comes with games as well. People who by default want the online and stuff, they will fork out the massive 70 dollars more to buy a premium, or more for the elite.
