What kind of price point are we looking at?  I read somewhere that the screen is OLED, still a pricey tech at this point.

I really dislike picking up the newest, most badass tech right away as it usually decreases in value drastically within the first 6 months after release.  That said, I may pick one up if the price is reasonable.

I would be willing to bet we will see this launch with the same price points as the ipod touch.

As for newest gadgets i agree with you the value decreases and there are usually alot of bugs with the newest of the new but im gonna bite the bullet (assuming the Zune HD delivers) and buy it day 1. Infact ill wait inline and get it at midnight. Hopefully M$ show the Zune HD at E3. Theres so many questions i have

Well at least you know for sure you want one.  I'm on the fence until I see some specs and pricing.  That might be a handy thing to put in your OP; a link to some technical specifications to help us less informed folk out.

Or are the technical specs available at this point?  I'm definitely curious, but I'll probably wait to see how it reviews.

i cannot seem to find the tech specs i will post them in this thread as soon as they become available. But we know it has a 3.3 inch OLED touch screen with a 480x272 resolution and with a seperate dock it can play HD video content at 720P.

Well it definitely sounds like it will be a nice screen.  That OLED is impressive stuff.

So far so good!  Now we just need some info on HD size and battery life.
