I agree this has gotten out of hand. Might I suggest that the moderators institute a locking policy. The truth is that reasoning will do no good, because you would have to reason with a hundred different posters. Better to say your just going to lock this crap, and just lock it as you find it.
Most posters know this is the worst kind of crap in that it is utterly useless. Though a sizable number of members are going to post it, because they cannot draw the distinction between real news, and no news at all.
