Yeah, unfortunately my receiver has two optical inputs and no HDMI. But, like squilliam (I think) said, I can't really see a difference graphically on 1080i. Still, nice to know if I upgrade TVs sometime I'm good to go. It would be nice to upscale DVDs but I tried it and it didn't look that much better, no biggie.

I had to work and I was late because of this but I'm dying to actually play something on the new chip and see how quiet it is. I never cared much because I just crank my stereo but it will be nice to know I have a better running cooler system.

That 256 memory built in is kind of useless IMO. But interesting none the less. I guess if my hard drive crashed at least I would have a place to save games while I waited.

As for dedication, if I had traded in and went with PS3, which I really didn't want to do to begin with and lose all my gamerscore and friends. I also would have had about 20 games, drums, 3 guitars, arcade stick, memory cards and controllers... just too much hassle to tote all that up to gamestop and then get ripped off anyway :P But believe me all this will weigh heavy on my mind come next generation. Microsoft better build a solid system next time or I may switch to Sony or Nintendo, and weep a tear in the process.
