Alright soldiers now that we have routed the Metacritic abomination. On to our next FUD topic: Bluray is irrelevant and digital downloads ore the future.

When you encounter this enemy swiftly respond with: "I'm sure little Jimmy would love to find a digital download under the tree during X-Mas."

Carry on.

This isn't combatting FUD.... its combatting legitimate arguments with stupid fanboy comments.... I am upset at this war on FUD... it is not really a way on FUD at all!

To answer your topic, Blu-Ray is not "irrelevant" but it is likely to be the last mass market accepted disc technology used for data.  In another 12 years or so when the Blu-Ray life is over, things may very well shift to mostly digital downloads.  It may take slightly longer than that, but regardless digital downloads are the inevitable future.  As for little Jimmy, I'm sure his parents could buy him a gift card for that digital download and he could start downloading/streaming the movie as soon as he wishes to watch it

That would be awesome! No more discs to mess with, shrink wrap to remove, long waits for the Blu-Ray players to turn on and actually start reading the discs.....  I want to be Jimmy!

Looks like I just did

Great job Nightsurge! Listen up everyone Nightsurge has given us a great example on how the enemy throws different types of "Crazy granades" at you.

This one is tricky. When someone tries to throw this one at you simply sidestep it by saying: "downloading movies in youtube quality is good if you have never heard of youtube".

Great job Nightsurge.
