Looks like a legit research for the most part, but .. Wii owners prefer RPGs? Wat?! The most successfull RPG on the Wii in Japan is only the 14th best selling game on the system (that, if you consider DQ Swords an RPG).
I can believe that PS3 owners prefer action games, however, as top 3 most successfull PS3 games in Japan are all action games.
