Woah, I never said anything about Asians, let alone all Asians. However, it is well known that Japanese people in particular have difficulty when learning English in distinguishing between and producing the English sounds r and l as these sounds exist on a continuum rather than as categorically different in their own language. An English speaking person learning Japanese is likely to have the converse problem. Why this would be considered derogatory or insulting is beyond me unless you make the assumption that the ability to acquire a second language with the same ease an proficiency as a native speaker is the norm.

Ethnicly I'm a 100% Japanese, and I don't speak Engrish. And again, I never said I was offended, I'm just playing the devil's advocate and saying that some overly sensitive people may get offended, and turst me, there are plenty.
