Personally I find organized religion silly, but probably only because it was brutally thrust upon me by my family. While I don't agree beliefs-wise, I do appreciate the amount of dedication that it takes to fast for a month. My friend is the worst Muslim in the world, doesn't believe in god, yada yada yada. But out of pure tradition he fasts on Ramadaan. I don't know how he does it, I have fasted for Lent (my family is very traditional) but he wakes up, smokes before sunrise (420 smoking) and manages not to get the munchies all day. He says to him it makes him feel more disciplined than everyone else, and I have to agree, don't know anytime that I have ever been stoned and held off eating. Anyway, not to get off topic, you guys fasting really have a lot of dedication, good for you, helps put other things in life into perspective.
