I agree it's a heck of a game, i've played it. It's impressive to say the least, but it didnt surpass COD for me and it was as enjoyable as gears, which is quite good. To me it felt like a mid point between gears and COD. In the sense that it's closer to the action than COD (camera angles etc) but not as close as gears, since gears is really kinda in your face. I am not talking about quality here.
I've yet to hear anyone tell me what standard this game set? Graphics are good but crysis remains unsurpassed and it is not leaps and bounds better than gears or mgs4 etc. Great game, yes. Standard setter, no.
COD remains to me best pure shooter experience, no icing required. Just down right nasty.
