This gen I chosed only one system (Ps3) And I am really happy about my decision. No costs for Online Gaming. And good games. And Bluray too. Its really an all in one box I even have Play TV so I can record Tv Programms on my 500gig HD. Later it will be possible to record them in HD (If they will Modify the Signal here) No console could give me the same experience and I am more then satisfied with the games. Sometimes I think about buying a WII but not at that Price I will buy one, on the end of the Gen for 99 Euros. There are only some games I want to play (Mario Galaxy a new Zelda, Metroid, SSBB) thats it. So no reason to buy one right now.
You will be quite happy with your decision I guess. Especially if You use all of the features of the PS3 (No need to buy a Bluray Player in future) And you can store at least 800 movies on the HD (in SD quality if you buy a 500 GB HD for 99 Dollars) Under my main Tv were 4 boxes (PS2,Reciever,DVD recorder, Mp3/CD Player) Now there is only my PS3. (If the Ps3 wouldnt have Bluray I would have bought a Standalone Blurayplayer too) The place under my TV would be really crowded.
