ok, so it wasn't an official report from Steam, or anything, but an enemy Spy accused me of cheating because I kept shooting him. It was a sort of like "how did you know?"
It's pretty god damned easy to tell a spy out when he's the only red team member running along with a load of blu. Or when he's trying to get up real close to the back of one of your team.
Two hints for playing the Spy:
1 - Don't be a Spy at the start of the game, it's really easy to see one blu guy running with a pack of red. Wait until the game's gone on a bit, and when the teams have dispersed it's harder to tell who's who.
2 - Don't try and get a backstab kill when your target is in amongst a load of his team, it's so fucking obvious. Only kill when someone's on their own, preferably a busy Sniper.
Anyways, I always thought of the Spy class as the class that you play on pick-up objectives type games (like the enemy intelligence one), and you should try and keep kills to a minimum. Either that, or when the opposing team is full of Snipers. The Spy is the anti-Sniper (and I say that as a player that always plays Sniper, and has a Spy at 0.1 hours).
