If the Neo Geo is a failure, how did it manage to last from 1990 to 2004 before finally being retired?

On-Topic: I honestly have to disagree with that list a lot. The people who wrote the article probably didn't know that the PC-Engine (that's Tg-16 in Japan) did so well in Japan.

Here's my list of top 7 system failures:

7. Atari Lynx (Didn't last to long & was quickly slain by the Gameboy.)

6. Wonderswan Color (How long did that system last when the GBA was released in Japan?)

5. N-Gage (Just another assailant trying to overthrow the GBA, pretty self explanatory.)

4. Atari Jaguar (Well, at least there's Iron Soldier, AVP, Tempest 2000, Rayman, & a couple other good games.)

3. N64-DD (So much wasted potential. That & released too late.)

2. Apple/Bandai Pippin (Self-Explanatory)

1. Game.com (As assailant that wasn't even trying. Though it did at least have an accessory that allowed for you to go on the internet (very primitive!) or so I heard)
