^ what do you consider Huge ? take two has 2,000 employees and EA made a 1.5 billion dollar bid. Insomniac has 180 employees. 100million to buy them out max. 1. insomniac has no IP's of their own so Sony wouldnt get any games through it just talent.(apparently they wouldnt even get a building) 2. privatly owned is a lot easier to convince. (if they are willing to sell to begin with) (just for compariso. SE - 3,300 employees. EA - 7,900. Ubisoft - 4,500 these would be huge for me)

The fact that Insomniac are privately owned means that nobody can come in and just randomly buy them out but I also see Sony putting in a bid to keep them as well if Insomniac ever seemed compromised. They don't seem as money oriented as companies like Square Enix and other companies are because probably get a good cut from Sony for their current IP's. I also didn't say that they were huge. Insomniac are one of the U.S.'s 10 best small businesses (have been for 3 years in a row). I just think they are very loyal to Sony for their beginnings.

Take Rare into consideration
