Is there any series based games, especially ones with good storylines that you loved even though you hadn't played their previous installments?
For me I there is two main ones.
1) MGS3 & MGS4 - Ive been totally blown away by those two games and loved their storylines even though they are the only 2 MGS games Ive played. Although I still only know around 60% of Metal Gears Storyline, thats still more than most 
2) God of War 2 - Again, blown away. The gameplay was awesome Imo, and Ive caught up with the main story points from GoW1. Now looking forward to GoW3.
