| brythoma said: just updated the link to the vgchartz store (thanks dsister) no prob, dclKeeL- i was in the same boat as you, wanted to pick it up, but man am i cheap; i was looking for cheaper used copies of the game but i guess b/c of low availability (esp here in the states), i couldnt find anything under $50. I'm really enjoying getting back into JRPGS this gen - really enjoyed Blue Dragon (lame story, but awesome battle system), and Lost Oddysey (good story w/ good battle system). i played the demo for this on XBL a while back and wasnt really sucked in, but its really hard to sell a JRPG based on a 40 minute demo (its all about getting into the story, and developing your characters abilities- at least for me) |
Yea, i just bought my 360 this fall (nov 08) and i have 16 games. Went a little crazy and this game slipped my mind and i didnt realize it until i was broke. I knew about it too. It was one of the games i was planning to get the 360 with but by nov gears and fable sequels came out and i forgot.
I've also been trying to get back in jrpgs. I actually took a break from gaming since 05. Just didnt buy many games my xbox 1 died and my ps2 was sad collecting dust. But rpgs, jrpgs specifically have always been my preffered genre and when i joined this gen i came to see that the jrpg quality game well is a bit dry as of late which saddned me. Last remnant got me excited for about 6 months, and it had broken gameplay. Hvent played SO 4 but from what i hear its just Ok at best. Infinite undiscovery...meh and so on and so forth. I was like where are the mind blowing jrpgs with the anime and hollywood storyline marriage and the awsome summons and baddass bosses and godly main protagonist??? I've been playing alot of WRPGS this gen. Fallout 3 and Mass effect. Lol, who woulda thought!
