I think the arcade core model is a great idea. The price is starting to get in the range that interests me, and I love that they bundle a bunch of games with it (on disk, or on memory card?).
You can always buy a hdisk down the track - which is the only thing missing... right?
Its also getting pretty close to the Wii price point, which is very smart. Someone heads into a store, wanting a Wii - but they are sold out - for a few $ more, they can pick up one of these babies (and it still has games).
Mem card is a bit piss-weak though. 1Gig memory (USB) doesn't cost much these days.
If they only would have the balls to throw VivaPinata in...
