It is clear to me that the developer is trying to bring new life to the old point and click advenure genre by bringing in modern technology. Its still a long way from completion and I still think the developer will succeed in what they are trying to accomplish. In that regard, it must be considered a success for them. Will it translate to commercial success? Only time will tell.

I believe that only Tim Schaffer is capable of successfully ressurecting the old point and click genre. Maybe after he finished Brutal legend he will.
