The picture was just showing another fake ps3.  It wasn't trying to show the "slim ps3"   put your mouse over the picture

Exactly.  The article is not saying the the Funstation 3 is the one from the leaked photos, it is saying that the leaked photos are likely from another knock-off creating company.  Does explain why no internal hardware was shown/leaked and why the logo for PS3 was changed and the console no longer displays the full PlayStation 3 name.
